They are canned, labeled with something like this:"sweetened red bean paste", very handy. You can use it on the go.

The other way is to cook by yourself at home. It's much cheaper. It would take some time to prepare, but you can adjust the sweetness to your own preference. The method is very easy:

Use 1 part of red beans and 3 parts of boiling water to cook on low heat until all beans are softened. Add sugar to taste. That's it.
For shortening cooking time, soak red beans more than one hour before cooking.Christine Hohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04317873875051095114noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3141699525294763294.post-4829398091936416092008-09-07T13:04:00.000+10:002008-09-07T13:04:00.000+10:00Where would I find Red bean paste?Where would I find Red bean paste?jaymeelizhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05667745899705060222noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3141699525294763294.post-37463170712293684712008-08-01T21:08:00.000+10:002008-08-01T21:08:00.000+10:00To Kai,Certainly, it's really easy.
